At Edmond de Rothschild, wine is also a tale of encounters.
That’s how Amistà, “friendship” in Provençal, was born.
A simple name that says it all.
An encounter between the expertise of Les vins Edmond de Rothschild and the Provençal roots of the Fabre-Grimaldi family, owners of Château de l’Aumérade.
Amistà is there for those moments when time slows down.
The conversations that stretch on, the silences that matter, the bonds forged without words. The day draws to a close. The light slowly fades, giving way to the evening cool. The air is filled with the scent of rosemary and thyme.
Provence is no longer a landscape, but a presence.
Harvested at night, when the temperature drops and the fruit, from the best hand selected plots, retains its firmness, pressed with care and vinified slowly, Amistà is founded on the care taken at every step.
The night is not just a backdrop, it is a condition for making the perfect wine.

Nestled between the hills and the sea, backed by the slopes of the Massif des Marures, the vineyards of the Pierrefeu-du-Var plain benefit from constant air circulation, with a regulating and balancing effect. This precise climate allows the grape varieties to find their fullest expression: Grenache for roundness and purity of fruit, Syrah for energy, Cinsault for freshness and length.
Amistà is a wine with presence. A wine that marks a moment, without ever freezing it. More than a wine, a way of being together.
