ONE, when matter inspires creation

A Collection in Perpetual Reinvention

ONE is designed to signify the individuality of each vintage. It captures a particular trait of the creative cycle of Château des Laurets Sélection Parcellaire Baron Edmond and translates it into a complete work of art. Since its first opus, this exclusive collection of numbered art bottles has been the fruit of unique collaborations, where the material is as much a vector of expression as the wine itself.
ONE Opus 1 – The Vine (2015 Vintage) : Gilles Chabrier, glass artist and sculptor, engraved the bottles with stylized motifs of vines, leaves, and tendrils in relief. The artist also represented the hand of man through tin wires entwining the bottles, evoking those who shape the vineyard.
ONE Opus 2 – The Earth (2016 Vintage) : For this new edition, Gilles Chabrier explored the symbolism of the terroir, the matrix of the wine. On each bottle, he stylized the furrows of the earth, sandblasted with gold to give it a patina evoking the preciousness of the terroir, and incorporated a few grams of soil from the property.
ONE Opus 3 – Time (2018 Vintage) : Gilles Chabrier worked on the imprint of time. He recreated on the bottles the effect of aging in the cellar and engraved symbols evoking the past and the future, in a dialogue between memory and becoming.

ONE Opus n° 4 : The Color of the Senses

With ONE Opus 4, the collection explores a new dimension: that of synesthesia, where the senses mingle and respond to one another. Tasting is a total act, an experience where sight caresses the wine's color (the "robe"), where touch soaks up the texture of the glass, where the ear delights in the sound of the poured nectar, and where the palate savors in a crescendo.

Two artists accompanied this exceptional vintage to reveal its full sensoriality:

Gilles Chabrier imagined a unique bottle, dressed in an imperial red wax casing, evoking both power and emotion. Each bottle becomes a work of art in itself, capturing the energy of the wine, its movement, and its intensity.

Geoffroy Pithon, painter and graphic designer, extended this alchemy by developing a vibrant watercolor, a true map of the aromas and sensations. A celebration of the wine's colors, from the raw material to its full expression.

This unique collection is the result of the impetus provided by Ariane de Rothschild, who initiates and supports each collaboration with the artists. ONE is a tribute to creativity in all its forms. From the soil to the bottle, from the gesture of the winemaker to that of the artist, each vintage becomes a work of art, and each work of art tells the story of a vintage. All inspirations, all materials, all paths lead to ONE.
