The Tommette Merle Rouge is the only hard cheese matured in the cellars of the Domaine des 30 Arpents. For two months, the Merle Rouge is scrubbed with the wine lees of Château Clarke, one of Edmond de Rothschild Heritage’s flagship Bordeaux wineries. This process gives it its unique reddish colour and taste. Instantly recognisable, the Merle Rouge aroma and flavour make it a favourite cheese for connoisseurs.
To preserve the Tommette Merle Rouge, it is recommended to keep it wrapped in its original packaging and store it in the lower part of the refrigerator.
