Akarua The Siren 2019: Ambitious
A super-premium vintage
The second most cultivated varietal in New Zealand, pinot noir captures and reproduces the intensity of the Bannockburn terroir. Reputed worldwide for its pinot noir, Bannockburn now rivals the emblematic pinot noir-producing regions of Burgundy and Oregon. The Siren, Akarua’s super-premium vintage, is an ambitious and bewitching pinot noir. It is produced on the finest land of Cairnmuir, where the vines are lent their fullest expression by the extreme environment, with intense winds, heat and dryness. The odyssey of a powerful, complex and floral wine with a brooding spiciness and seductive dark-berry notes.
